LOCATIONS:
MISSION
The Surgical Technologist assists providers during operative and invasive procedures in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC), while maintaining a sterile surgical environment throughout each procedure.
OUTCOMES
- Able to prepare the operating room and manage necessary instruments and supplies during procedures in a timely manner in a high-volume environment.
- Willing to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands of providers and the medical team, including basics of sterile processing.
- Able to identify physical symptoms and take appropriate action when needed with a sense of urgency.
- Understand the flow of the operating room and be able to provide efficient support to providers with instruments and medications during the surgical procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
- 2+ year of experience in surgical setting
OR
- Current Surgical Technician Certification (preferred)
Credentials/Licensures:
- Current BLS Certification
